Two recent laws have been introduced to streamline and fair the process. Law 14.195/2021 modernized stages of the civil process, such as citation, making life easier for those filing a lawsuit. Law 15.109/2025 guarantees that lawyers do not need to advance costs in collection and enforcement actions. This is an important step toward valuing the profession and accelerating access to justice.
